Q: Do we have classes every day?
A: Classes meet from Monday to Thursday.

Q: Which monuments / museums / churches will we visit, and when?
Roman Holiday tour (temples of Hercules and Forum Boarium, chuch
of Santa Maria in Cosmedin, Circus Maximus, Aventine Hill); Hadrian's Villa and Villa d'Este
week 2: Coliseum, Roman Forum & Palatine Hill In Florence: Uffizi Gallery, Accademia, churches of Santa Maria Novella and Santa Croce; excursion to Chianti
week 3: St. Peter's Basilica (including the dome), Vatican Museums
week 4: Pompeii
week 5: Capitoline Museums, Galleria Borghese
week 6: Ara Pacis
Q: Do we have weekends free?
A: You will have some weekends free. Excursions are as follows:
Q: When should I arrive in Rome and when should I leave?
end of week 1:
Friday excursion to Hadrian's Villa and Tivoli. Saturday and
Sunday free. (Read more about week 1!)
end of week 2: excursion to Florence from Thursday morning to Saturday late afternoon / early evening (Read more about week 2!)
end of week 3: free weekend
end of week 4: excursion to Pompeii and Archaeological Museum in Naples (Thursday), followed by optional weekend in
end of week 5: free weekend
A: You may arrive in and depart from Rome whenever you
like. Your program fee covers your apartment rent from June 23rd - August 4th. (You
are expected to meet for dinner at
7:00 pm on June 23rd). Please be sure to book a flight that arrives
no later than 1:00pm on the 23rd, as this will allow you to take advantage of privately organized shuttle transportion to your apartment.
Finals will be held on August
and check out of your apartment is on August 4th (by 12:00 pm, at the
latest). If you need hotel accommodations before the program
begins, or after it ends,
