DeGaussian Annex at UF
In addition to the main paleomagnetic laboratory, we house additional equipment in Williamson 157C. We have christened this lab (without ANY donations from outside the University), The DeGaussian Annex.
Note: Our main laboratory has just acquired an AGM/VSM from Princeton Instruments

Sample Prep Area (Amy Cutting India cores) KLY-3S Susceptibility Bridge with cryostat (CS-L) and heater (CS-3)
ASC Thermal Demagnetizer (48 sample capacity) ASC Impulse magnetizer (2 coils-right) and Home-made AF demagnetizer (left)
Sample storage and kappa bridge Molspin (Laura measuring) and shield for AF-demagnetizer
The lab also houses 3 Stihl gasoline powered drills, orienting devices, gps units, bruntons and paleomagnetic sampling equipment for field work.
